Easy Ways to Clear Space on Your Laptop's Hard Drive

Do you live with a thin-and-light laptop that has a small drive? Or just have a large drive that's filled to overflowing? Here's how to get some breathing room back.

Easy Ways to Clear Space on Your Laptop's Hard DriveIt’s all too easy to run out of disk space.
That's true whether you have a gigantic hard drive quickly filling up with applications, movies, music, and photos or live with one of the newer ultrathin laptops sporting fast but tiny solid-state drives that can’t hold much to begin with.
Thankfully, lots of easy ways exist to reclaim hard-drive space and keep the dreaded “out-of-disk-space” warnings away. Let's check some of them out.

Clean Up Files You No Longer Need

The first step is to get rid of the common space-hogging culprits. These include unnecessary applications and a variety of useless system files.

Windows Disk CleanupWindows Disk Cleanup (click to enlarge).Your Recycle Bin, Temp folders, and random system files may be hogging gigabytes of potential free space. Microsoft’s built-in disk cleaner, Windows Disk Cleanup, will free up this space for you.
Go to the Start menu, type disk cleanup in the search box, and press Enter for the screen where you can whisk these items away. (If you have a particularly packed system, have patience while Disk Cleaner does its magic.)

By the way, you can schedule Disk Cleanup to run regularly in Windows’ Task Scheduler. Here's how:
Click the Start button, type Task Schedulerin the search form, and press Enter. Under the Actions menu, select Create Basic Task. Follow the wizard to enter a description and set a daily/weekly/other schedule, then typecleanmgr.exe in the Filename box to schedule it.

That method runs Disk Cleanup at a set time but still requires your input. If you want to run Disk Cleanup in the background without your supervision, you can create a scheduled task to do this using the command line:
  • Go to the Start menu, enter cmd in the search box, and press Enter to open the Command Prompt.
  • Type cleanmgr.exe /sageset:1 to open the Disk Cleanup settings.
  • Select the types of files you always want to delete and press OK. This will create a Registry key to save these cleanup settings, and also run Disk Cleanup right now.
  • Then go into Task Scheduler as mentioned above (Start > Task Scheduler > Create Basic Task), and when you get to the Scheduled Task program screen, enter /sagerun:1 in the arguments (in addition to “cleanmgr.exe” for the filename) to apply the cleanup settings.
Here are some other areas to consider for cleanup.
Uninstall Unnecessary Applications: At one point or another most of us have installed programs we thought we would use, or just wanted to try, but ultimately don’t need.
To get rid of those unnecessary applications, such as old games or tax software good for only one year, go to the Start menu, then Control Panel, and click Programs and Features. Select the program or programs you want to uninstall, and click the Uninstall button at the top.

Also, if you have more than one video player or music player or other types of duplicate applications, get rid of the dupes.

Use a Dedicated System Cleanup Tool: Sometimes your manual cleanup efforts don’t catch allthe stray items that can be wasting disk space. A utility designed just for thoroughly cleaning your system can do the job a lot better.
Use CCCleaner to throughly clean your system.Use a program like CCCleaner to throughly clean your system. (Click to enlarge.)For a complete cleaning job, take a look at CCleaner. This free utility erases browser histories and caches, temporary files, system restore points, and other items responsible for your disk drive’s bloat.

Eyeball Your 'Miscellaneous' Folders: Some types of folders also just magically accumulate more files. Maybe you have a “temp” or “misc” folder that you just stuff random bits into. Make sure all those forgotten files are ones you actually want to keep; move the useful ones into folders with more helpful names and delete the others.

One folder you should definitely weed out regularly is the Downloads folder. If you ever want to reinstall a program, chances are you’ll want to use the latest version available from the developer’s website rather than the dated one you downloaded long ago into that catch-all folder, so feel free to delete those old installation files.

Target Large and Duplicate Files

If you've done the above, you've made a big improvement in your hard drive space usage, but now let’s dig deeper.
To find out what’s really taking the most amount of space on your hard drive, use a disk space analyzer. WinDirStat (free) scans your drive to show you graphically how much space each file takes up. Select the large blocks in WinDirStat to hone in on the files that are taking up the most space—and are therefore candidates for deletion.
Auslogics Duplicate File Finder (free) finds those pesky files you’ve stored in more than one folder. You can also search solely for duplicate files that take up a large amount of space, quickly identifying the worst offenders.

Move Key Folders to an External Drive

Perhaps the easiest way to slim up your system is to expand your space with an external drive. With a cheap USB hard drive or even a flash memory card, you can store your growing collection of photos and videos off of your computer and use your primary drive just for launching your operating system and applications quickly.
The MyDocuments folderThe MyDocuments folder.Prices on external drives have dropped dramatically recently, so you can have tons of cheap space just for this purpose. If you’re really stuck on space, you can move your whole My Documents folder to another location (that is, another drive).
To do this, right-click on the My Documentsfolder in Windows Explorer and go to the folder’s properties. Then choose the right destination under the Location tab. Or you could move just select folders to your external drive.

Just make sure that you have a backup system in place for the files on your external drive, as you would (or should) for your internal drive. Back up the folders both locally and with online backup services likeCrashplan and Backblaze, which can back up external drives.

Store on the Web

Cloud storage services offer tons of free space online you can use instead of your hard drive.Microsoft’s SkyDrive, for example, gives you 7GB or 25GB free (depending on when you signed up for the service), while BoxGoogle Drive, and SugarSync Free offer 5GB. Dropbox Basic starts at 2GB for free.
If you get in on promotions that these services sometimes run, you could score even more space—Box, for example, has offered 50GB free in the past.

To really save space, though, the service you use will have to let you either simply upload your files without having to sync them, as Box does, or exclude some folders from syncing (otherwise, you’ll still have those folders and files stored on your computer). SkyDrive and SugarSync don’t seem to have this selective syncing feature, but Dropbox and Google Drive both do.
To stop syncing all folders to Google Drive, right-click on the Google Drive Tool, then go toPreferences. Check the box for Only sync some folders to this computer.

For Dropbox, go to the Dropbox preferences, then the Advanced tab, and click the Selective Syncbutton.

This is a great way to keep large folders like videos and photos in your online storage space and remove them from your computer's hard drive.

Other services you can use to save space include Amazon Cloud Drive (ideal for storing your music), Picasa or Flickr for your photos, and, of course, YouTube for videos.

Run Software in Your Browser

Finally, Web-based software can often rival desktop software in functionality—and such programs are often free. Instead of installing an office suite on your computer, you can use Google Docs or run Microsoft Office Web apps from within SkyDrive online.
Pixlr EditorPixlr Editor.Pixlr Editor can substitute for the space-hungry Photoshop for photo editing, PDFescape does the job of Adobe Acrobat, Screenr is an online screen recorder that can replace Camtasia, and, instead of Quicken for your personal finances, you could try Mint or Adaptu.

So don’t feel cramped if you have a small hard drive. Use some of these strategies and you may find your hard drive to be bigger than you thought.

HP Envy Ultrabook 4-1030us

HP Envy Ultrabook 4-1030us

HP Envy 4 Review: The Most Stylish Ultrabook Yet

Ultrabooks, for the most part, look the same: skinny, sleek, and an awful lot like Apple's MacBook line. But the HP Envy 4 is different. It appears to be bigger and thicker than other 14-inch Ultrabooks (it's not), but it has a design that's, thankfully, all its own. This attractive ultraportable features a flat, plateau-like brushed aluminum cover and a sexy red undercarriage. Plus, it's a solid performer with excellent speakers.
Our review model, which costs $870 (list; as of 7/24/2012), has a third-generation Intel i5-3317U processor, 4GB of RAM, and two hard drives: a 500GB HDD and a 32GB SSD (the latter is used as a cache for the hard drive to ensure a quick boot-up time and faster application loading). The Envy 4 starts up in 19 seconds, which is pretty quick for the category, though not quite as fast as the Acer Aspire S5 (12.3 seconds) or the Dell XPS 13 (16.9 seconds).
The Envy 4 also features built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, and runs a 64-bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium. The Envy 4 does not have a discrete graphics card, and relies on Intel's integrated HD graphics chip for its graphics performance.

Performance

In PCWorld's WorldBench 7 benchmark tests, the HP Envy 4 scores 126 out of 100. This means that the Envy 4 is 26 percent faster than our testing model, which has a second-generation Intel i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and a discrete Nvidia graphics card. A score of 126 is a good one for the Ultrabook category. We've seen other Ultrabooks score higher--the Dell XPS 13 has a score of 136--but most of the Ivy Bridge Ultrabooks we've looked at so far have scored in the range of 95 to 110.
As you might expect, the Envy 4 pretty much falls flat when it comes to graphics performance, since it has no discrete graphics card, and it can handle only so much gaming (in other words, basically none, though you should be able to play basic RPGs if you absolutely must). In our Crysis 2 graphics tests, the Envy 4 barely managed 22.2 frames per second, and that was at the lowest-quality graphics settings with a screen resolution of 800 by 600 pixels. The Envy 4 performed slightly better in our Dirt 3 graphics test, managing a playable 39.5 fps at the same settings and resolution.
Finally, battery life: HP really wants us to be impressed with the Envy 4's battery life, which is "up to 9 hours," the company says. But in our lab tests, we could get only a measly 5 hours, 45 minutes out of the Envy 4. True, we never get the amount of battery life that vendors say we should out of their machines, but a 3.25-hour difference is a pretty big one.

Design: Chassis, Keyboard, Trackpad

As noted at the beginning, the Envy 4's chassis looks thicker and heavier than those of other Ultrabooks we've seen, but it isn't. The Envy 4 is 0.78 inches thick, or 19.8 millimeters. This means it qualifies for Ultrabook status under Intel's somewhat lax guidelines--notebooks with screens of 14 inches (like the Envy 4) or greater must be less than 21 millimeters thick. The Envy 4 weighs a little less than 4 pounds, not including accessories.
Despite being thicker- and heavier-looking than other laptops in the Ultrabook category, the Envy 4's chassis is very attractive. It has a flat, black brushed aluminum cover with rounded edges and a small silver HP logo in the lower left corner. The cover is simple but solid, and the brushed aluminum really makes the laptop look high-quality. The bottom is made of a soft, slightly rubberized material, and is crimson in color. The red is a nice way of incorporating color--it makes the Ultrabook look like a Louboutin shoe: high-end and subtly sexy.
The Envy 4's inside also looks good. Its keyboard deck has the same black, brushed aluminum finish as the cover, and the glossy screen is surrounded by a thin, shiny black plastic bezel. Aside from a power button, keyboard, and trackpad, the keyboard deck is bare. The speakers are located above the keyboard, and sport a small red Beats Audio logo.
The Envy 4 has a full-size, backlit keyboard with island-style keys. Though the keyboard's backlight can be turned off, the F5 key (which toggles the backlight on and off) and the F12 key (which toggles Wi-Fi on and off) remain lit at all times. This can be a little annoying in a dark room, because these lights are rather bright, but I suppose HP thinks that you'll be using the keyboard backlight in a dark room anyway.
The keyboard is attractive to look at, with rounded corner keys (Ctrl, the right arrow button, Delete, and Esc). It's not quite as attractive to type on, however. Key feedback is a little weak, as HP has opted for quiet, soft-touch keys rather than ones with solid feedback. The keys are also a little too flat, smooth, and shallow, all features that make them look good but that make typing accurately a difficult task. Still, the keyboard wasn't awful--it's not what I'd want to type on all the time, but it should be fine for casual to regular use.
The trackpad suffers from the same problem: pretty to look at, but not very comfortable to use. The trackpad is large, located in the center of the keyboard deck below the keyboard, and separated from the deck by an indentation and a silver sliver. It has built-in buttons that tip the whole trackpad when you press them, similar to Apple's glass trackpads on its MacBooks.
The trackpad is physically smooth enough, but the cursor seems to stop short of where you want it to go. In other words, cursor movement isn't smooth or accurate, and you'll find yourself frustrated as you drag your finger over the trackpad to get the cursor where you want it. The built-in mouse buttons are also a little difficult to press--in our review model, the left-click side of the trackpad seemed much stiffer than the right-click side. The pad supports multitouch gestures, which are fairly smooth, and has a small box in the upper left corner that you can double-tap to toggle the trackpad on and off.
The Envy 4's ports average for the Ultrabook category: three USB (two USB 3.0, one USB 2.0), plus HDMI-out, ethernet, an SD card slot, and a Kensington lock slot. The Envy 4 also has separate microphone and headphone jacks, unlike other Ultrabooks, which typically have a combined jack.

Screen and Speakers

The Envy 4 has a 14-inch glossy LED-backlit screen with a native resolution of 1366 by 768 pixels. The screen looks good, but not great. It's very bright, though not quite bright enough for direct sunlight. Colors look a little dull, even washed out at brighter screen settings. HD video is good, with virtually no artifacting in most scenes. Off-axis viewing angles are also good. In fact, when the screen is brighter and the colors are washed out, viewing the screen from a few inches to the side actually makes it look better than looking at it straight on.
Audio on the Envy 4 sounds excellent, considering this is an ultraportable notebook. Laptop speakers generally aren't very good, but the Beats Audio enhancement software that HP includes really improves sound quality. The speakers themselves are very loud for an Ultrabook, though not quite loud enough to fill a medium-sized room full of people.

The Bottom Line

The HP Envy 4 is aptly named. It's a solid machine, with good performance scores, excellent speakers and audio enhancement software, and a mediocre screen, keyboard, and trackpad. The only big drawback is the battery life, which is disappointingly under 6 hours, despite HP's tantalizing promise of 9. Luckily, the power block is small enough to carry with you, though plugging in the laptop might cramp the Envy's style. The Envy 4's premium design and attractive use of color certainly makes it the "envy" of other Ultrabooks.

Today's computers generally outpace the overall performance that the average consumer requires. Because of this, there are some great deals on older laptops that offer just as good of an experience as the most recent models. This is especially true if your primary uses for a PC are for the web, viewing media and using productivity software. Dell has a very good offer on a Dell Inspiron 15 for just $400 with free shipping. The 15-inch system uses an Core i3-2350M dual core processor, 4GB DDR3 memory, 500GB hard drive, dual layer DVD burner, Intel HD Graphics 3000, 802.11b/g/n wireless and Windows 7 Home Premium. Now, this is the older model so it does lack the USB 3.0 ports of the new version but this probably won't be an issue for many buyers on a tight budget.
Disclaimer: All deals are those advertised by the retailer in question and may have rebates or other conditions of purchase for the products. Please be sure to read all disclaimers from the seller before purchasing.

Apple introduces new version of computer operating system

SAN FRANCISCO, June 11 (Xinhua) -- Apple on Monday introduced OS X Mountain Lion, the ninth generation of the operating system for its Macintosh computers with more than 200 new features.
Apple executives highlighted some of the new features at the company's annual Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco.
In the new platform, Apple replaces iChat with the new Messages app, which is similar to iMessage in Apple's mobile platform. It enables users to send messages to anyone with an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or another Mac computer.
A new Sharing feature is also brought to the platform, making it easier to share links, photos, videos and other files through third-party services like Facebook and Twitter.
Dictation is also built into the new Mountain Lion, allowing users to dictate text. A new feature called Power Nap can make certain model of Apple's MacBook Pro notebooks and some MacBook Air notebooks automatically update contents like mails and contacts.
Meanwhile, the new OS X Mountain Lion also adds new features for Chinese consumers. Apple said it is improving its Chinese input method for Pin Yin and providing a new Chinese dictionary.
In its web browser Safari, Apple adds support for Baidu, China' s largest search engine, and built-in sharing to China's micro- blogging service Sina Weibo, as well as video websites Yoku and Tudou. It also enables users to set up their Macs with China's top email services.
The new platform will be available in July from the Mac App Store for 19.99 U.S. dollars. For those who purchase the latest Apple notebook lineup just unveiled on Monday, they will get the system upgrade for free.

Fashion

Fashion is a general term for a popular style or practice, especially in clothing, footwear, accessories, makeup, or furniture. "Fashion" refers to a distinctive; however, often-habitual trend in a look and dress up of a person, as well as to prevailing styles in behavior. "Fashion" usually is the newest creations made by designers and are bought by only a few number of people; however, often those "fashions" are translated into more established trends. [1] The more technical term, "costume," has become so linked in the public eye with the term "fashion" that the more general term "costume" has in popular use mostly been relegated to special senses like fancy dress or masquerade wear, while the term "fashion" means clothing generally, and the study of it. For a broad cross-cultural look at clothing and its place in society, refer to the entries for clothingcostume, and fabrics. The remainder of this article deals with clothing fashions in the Western world.[2]

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let us down, probably will. You'll have your heart broken and you'll break others' hearts. You'll fight with your best friend or maybe even fall in love with them, and you'll cry because time is flying by. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like you've never been hurt. Life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, no second chances. you just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you and tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone's hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up late, be a flirt, and smile until your face hurts. Don't be afraid to take chances or fall in love and most of all, live in the moment because every second you spend angry or upset is a second of happiness you can never get back.

How to Install Windows 7

This step-by-step guide demonstrates how to install Windows 7 Ultimate. The guide is similar for other versions of Windows 7 such as Home Premium.
The best way to install Windows 7 is to do a clean install. It is not difficult to perform a clean installation. Before you start the installation process I recommend that you check Windows 7 System Requirements list to ensure that your hardware is supported by Windows 7. If you don't have Windows 7 drivers for all your hardware, it is a good idea to download all the drivers from the hardware manufacturers website and save all the necessary drivers on a CD-R or a USB drive before you start the installation.
Windows 7 DVD is bootable. In order to boot from the DVD you need to set the boot sequence. Look for the boot sequence under your BIOS setup and make sure that the first boot device is set to CD-ROM/DVD-ROM.
Step 1 - Place Windows 7 DVD in your dvd-rom drive and start your PC. Windows 7 will start to boot up and you will get the following progress bar.
Windows 7 pic1 - Click to enlarge
Step 2 - The next screen allows you to setup your language, time and currency format, keyboard or input method. Choose your required settings and click next to continue.
Windows 7 pic2 - Click to enlarge
Step 3 - The next screen allows you to install or repair Windows 7. Since we are doing a clean install we will click on "install now".
Windows 7 pic3 - Click to enlarge
Step 4 - Read the license terms and tick I accept license terms. Then click next to continue.
Windows 7 pic4 - Click to enlarge
Step 5 - You will now be presented with two options. Upgrade or Custom (Advanced). Since we are doing a clean install we will select Custom (Advanced).
Windows 7 pic5 - Click to enlarge
Step 6 - Choose where you would like to install Windows 7. If you have one hard drive you will get a similar option to the image below. You can click next to continue. If you have more that one drive or partition then you need to select the appropriate drive and click next. If you need to format or partition a drive then click Drive options (advance) before clicking next.
Windows 7 pic6 - Click to enlarge

Step 7 - Windows 7 starts the installation process and starts copying all the necessary files to your hard drive as shown on the image below.
Windows 7 pic1 - Click to enlarge
Step 8 - It will go through various stages of the setup and will reboot your system few times.
Windows 7 pic2 - Click to enlarge
Step 9 - When your PC reboots it attempts to boot from DVD as its the first boot device. Do not press any key during the boot prompt so Windows 7 will continue with the installation by booting from the hard drive.
Windows 7 pic3 - Click to enlarge
Step 10 - After the reboot your computer will be prepared for first use.
Windows 7 pic4 - Click to enlarge
Step 11 - At this stage you need to choose a user name and computer name. Click next to continue. The user account you create here is the Administrator account which is the main account for your Windows 7 that has all the privileges.
Windows 7 pic5 - Click to enlarge
Step 12 - Choose your password and password hint just incase you forget your password and need to jog your memory.
Windows 7 pic6 - Click to enlarge
Step 13 - You can now type the product key that came with Windows 7 and click next. If you do not enter the product key you can still proceed to the next stage. However Windows 7 will run in trial mode for 30 days. You must therefore activate Windows within 30 days otherwise you can not access your computer after 30 days.
Windows 7 pic1 - Click to enlarge
Step 14 - Help protect your computer and improve Windows automatically. Choose Use recommended settings.
Windows 7 pic2 - Click to enlarge
Step 15 - Review your time and date settings. Select your time zone, correct the date and time and click next to continue.
Windows 7 pic3 - Click to enlarge
Step 16 - Select your computer's current location. If you are a home user then choose Home network otherwise select the appropriate option.
Windows 7 pic4 - Click to enlarge
Step 17 - Windows will now finalize the settings for your computer and restart.
Windows 7 pic5 - Click to enlarge
Step 18 - After the final restart Windows 7 will start to boot up.
Windows 7 pic6 - Click to enlarge

Step 19 - Finally you have the logon screen. Just type your password and press enter or click on the arrow to logon to Windows 7 for the first time.
Windows 7 pic1 - Click to enlarge
Step 20 - After you have logged on to Windows 7 for the first time, you will see similar desktop to the image below. At this point you can start using your computer. However it may not be fully configured. You need to make sure that all the hardware is detected correctly and the necessary device drivers are installed. This can be done from the device manager.
Windows 7 pic2 - Click to enlarge
Step 21 - To go to device manager click - Start Menu -> Control Panel -> System and Security -> System -> Device Manager. You will see all your hardware listed as shown on the image below. You need to check if you have any yellow exclamation marks next to the name of the devices, similar to "Multimedia Audio Controller" on the image below. This indicates that the driver has not been installed for this device.
At this stage you can install the driver for this device. To do so, Right Mouse click on Multimedia Audio Controller -> Update Driver Software...
Windows 7 pic3 - Click to enlarge
Step 22 - You can choose to "Search automatically for updated driver software" or "Browse my computer for driver software". If you have the driver CD or if the driver is on a USB drive then choose "browse my computer for driver software". Window 7 will search and install the driver from the CD or you can locate the driver manually.
Once you have removed all the yellow exclamation marks from the device manager your Windows 7 configuration would be fully complete.
Windows 7 pic4 - Click to enlarge
Step 23 - Finally check if you have successfully activated Windows 7. Click Start Menu -> Control Panel -> System and Security -> System. You will get a window similar to the image below. Towards the bottom you will see Windows is activated followed by your product ID. This shows that your copy of Windows 7 is fully activated.

Fix “This PC Doesn’t Meet System Requirements. If You Want to Install Windows 8, You May Have to Upgrade…” Error

With the release of the new Windows 8 CP, a lot of users are experiencing the following error message: “This PC doesn’t meet system requirements. If you want to install Windows 8, you may have to upgrade some of the hardware in this Computer.Your PC’s CPU isn’t Compatible with Windows 8” when trying to run Windows 8 CP setup (online installer). Here, I take for granted that you have already checked the minimum Windows 8 system requirements and that apparently, there is nothing else you can do. Most of the time such an error is triggered when the user is trying to install Windows 8 on old computer which doesn’t have the newest processors supporting Physical Address Extension (PAE), NX, and SSE2 where NX stands for “No Execute Bit”.
The reason that stands behind Microsoft’s choice to allow Windows 8 install on computers which have the NX feature in their processor can be read here. Basically, “…This is done for security reasons to ensure that malware defense features work reliably…”: However, if your processor does support NX feature, and still you doesn’t manage to install Windows 8, then maybe you have to turn the NX on from DOS! So, restart your computer and gain access to DOS. Look for “No execute bit” or equivalent XD (Execute Disable bit) in security settings and turn it on.

How to Turn On Autosave Password in Google Chrome and Firefox

How to Turn On Autosave Password in Google Chrome and Firefox

If you have a lot of passwords and usernames to remember, you might need a kind of autosave password feature on your Google Chrome and Firefox which lets you autosave your private data without asking. Such a feature is  available on Internet Explorer and it is very handy and time saver! On the other side it could be a little risky to leave your browser to automatically remember your passwords as they could be used by other users  if you share your computer with your coworkers, family members etc. Nonetheless it is quite useful!  This small tutorial will show you how to turn on the feature on your Google Chrome and Firefox in a couple of steps.
Before starting, let me tell you right away that Google Chrome doesn’t implement the autosave password feature among its settings. The Google Team thinks that it could be quite a dangerous feature since you could forget about it thus allowing the browser saving your most important data. The extension I am going to show you are intended to force Chrome to ask you to save and store your passwords in its database. In fact, some websites and blogs have got the “autocomplete” feature in its webpages off by default. This will prevent Chrome from asking you to save the passwords.
Autocomplete=On is a very useful extension for your Chrome which changes ‘autocomplete=off’ to ‘autocomplete=on’ in web pages, so your passwords will be remembered. Most of us think that when the browser doesn’t prompts to remember your password it only means that there is something wrong with the browser itself. Wrong! In fact, sometimes it is the website which has got a special feature which prevent the browser from asking you to save your password! Note: If after installing such extension, Chrome will continue not to ask you to save password, please empty the browser cache and refresh the page.
Also Firefox has not added the famous autosave password feature for the same security reasons I mentioned above for Google Chrome. However, things here are a little easier. In fact, thanks to a video I found on YouTube, you will be able to modify a javascript file within Firefox which is responsible to the famous warning asking you “Do you want Firefox to remember your password?” . Once such a file has been modified with a special piece of code, you will be able to save usernames and passwords without being notified! In order to use the instructions explained in the video tutorial, you will have to download and install Notepad++ first. In fact, the instructions refer to lines (such as:  replace the entire line from 800 to 869..) and Notepad++ add to the javascript code rows numbers to easily identify them.

genesis 6-8

This is the story of Noah. He had three sons. Shem, Ham, Japheth. Noah had no faults and was the only good man on his time. He lived in fellowship with God, but everyone else is evil in God's sight, and violence had spread everywhere. God looked at the world and saw that it was evil, for the people were all living evil lives.
God said to Noah, " I HAD DECIDED TO PUT AN END TO ALL PEOPLE . I WILL DESTROY THEM COMPLETELY, BECAUSE THE WORLD IS FULL OF THEIR VIOLENT DEEDS. Build a boat for yourself out of good timber; make rooms in it and cover it with tar inside and out. Make it 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high. Make a roof for the boat and leave a space of 18 inches between the roof and the sides. Build it with three decks and put a door in the side. I AM GOING TO SENT A FLOOD ON THE EARTH TO DESTROY EVERY LIVING BEING. Everything on the earth will die, but I will make a covenant with you. Go into a boat with you wife, you son, and their wives. Take into a boat with you a male and female of every kind of animal and of every kind of bird, in order to keep them alive. Take along all kinds of food for you and for the." Noah did everything that God commanded....

One man was pulled out of the rubble of at least four houses that were buried in a landslide that occurred amid heavy rain in Quezon City Tuesday.

The man was rushed to the East Avenue Medical Center, but it was not immediately clear what his condition was, according to a report by radio dzBB's Allan Gatus.

Sketchy initial reports indicated a landslide buried four houses near Litex Road in Commonwealth village in the city's Fairview area.

Rescue teams from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, Red Cross and Army were still trying to search for survivors as of Tuesday noon, the report said.

Heavy rain pounded Metro Manila since Monday night, with state weather forecasters warning the rain may persist until Wednesday.

PAGASA: Nonstop rain due to southwest monsoon still no match to 'Ondoy' BY ANDREO C. CALONZO, GMA NEWS August 7, 2012 12:16pm

The nonstop rain brought by the southwest monsoon over Metro Manila and parts of Luzon during the past 24 hours is still no match to the amount of rainfall dumped by tropical storm “Ondoy” in 2009, the state weather bureau said Tuesday.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) recorded 323.5 millimeters of rain over the past 24 hours—way below the 455 millimeters of rain poured by Ondoy in the same time period, weather forecaster Samuel Duran said.

“Si Ondoy remains a special case. Mas abrupt po ‘yung Ondoy. Iba po ‘yung case niya,” Duran said in an interview over GMA News TV’s “News To Go.”

In September 2009, Ondoy hit Metro Manila and nearby provinces, leaving at least 464 dead.

PAGASA said heavy rains experienced over northern, central and southern Luzon, as well as Metro Manila, were caused by the southwest monsoon enhanced by tropical storm “Haikui” located 300 kilometers northeast of Taiwan.

The intense rainfall has caused neck-deep floods in Marikina and Quezon City and forced some families to flee their homes.

In its 11 a.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA still warned of “occasional to frequent rains” until Wednesday. The weather bureau added that the country can expect "gradual improvement" of the weather condition by Thursday.

“Kung magpapatuloy ang pag-ulan, mag-expect pa rin tayo ng flooding. Tinataas pa rin natin ‘yung code red. Itataas natin para po ‘yung hindi pa po binabahang lugar, mag-ingat pa rin po sila,” Duran said. –KG, GMA News
